October 2003 On autum of 2003, student Benjamin Oliver, student and NYMEX chairman Vincent Viola and student Anthony Yip accompanied Master Quinones on a journey to China to pay respect to the late Madam Wang Yu Fan, daughter of the founder of Yi Chuan, Grandmaster Wang Xiang Zhai. Madam Wang was excited to greet us upon arrival at her house, the very place where the late Grandmaster has resided during the later of his life and has bestowed knowledge to her daughter. On that special day, all of those present felt very fortunate to be at Madam Wang's company while she told us anectodes of his father and discussed the deep knowledge of Yi Chuan. This would be the second time where students of Master Quinones were given the opportunity to experience the grace and knowledge of such a great Master. It would be the first time for NYMEX chairman and dedicated student, Vincent Viola, who sponsored this trip to China. The exchange was not soley verbal for Mr. Viola however. Madam Wang's daughter, who embodies a lineage from a branch of Chi Gong therapy, gave Mr. Viola an assessment and treatment of his body. Later that evening, Madam Wang graciously accepted the company's invitation to dinner where they were blessed with more of her knowledge and grace. see our picture [gallery] for this trip. July 2001 Master Quinones
and his teacher Master Dong traveled to China for the second time to pay
respect to Madam Wang Yu Fan (Grandmaster Wang Xiang Zhai's daughter).
In their informal exchanges, both masters benefited greatly from Madam
Wang's gems of knowledge. see our picture [gallery] for this trip.
